Ballada o człowieku spokojnym

The film takes place just after the war in Lower Silesia. Jan and his wife, Janina, who are expecting a child, settle in one of the villages. The soldier Bartek dies in tragic circumstances, and in his honor the couple named their son Bartłomiej.
