Between Hands

"Between Hands is a double video. It revolves around the theme of knols and string games: both "cat's cradle", which lives on in our culture as a game for little girls, as well as the similar games played by almost all Indigenous peoples, with an astonishing variety of figures. The video alternates between reflections on subjectivity from a text by the writer Ani Bustamante, and a selection of poems by the Cree community." - Eva Lootz
