A fusion of first person documentary and experimental art video, Family details the coming out experiences of the videomaker Foery—from discussing his sexuality on Philadelphia’s public radio show, "Gaydreams," at age 18, to finding an influential gay man on the internet, to ultimately coming out to his father in a tense on-camera interview.
