The trial of the highest Nazi leaders in Nuremberg at the end of World War II was not enough to annihilate totalitarian ideologies and their mechanisms of destruction. From Latin America to Cambodia, from the former Yugoslavia to Rwanda, the crimes against humanity and genocides committed in the last seventy years are a reason for the judiciary and civil society to fight impunity and prevent further tragedies.
