Monarch Sangen-Jaya 410

This comedy film about love and peace held its world premiere in 2003 at Cinema Shimokitazawa, where it drew roaring laughter from a full house audience. Including short pieces available to watch on YouTube, the work consists of a series of 14 short episodes, each only a few minutes long, chronicling the period from the outbreak of the 9/11 terrorist attacks to the beginning of the Iraq War. It was produced and released before many of the films criticizing the Iraq War, including Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11. It is significant that the film was released on DVD in 2011, the year Osama bin Laden was killed.
