Notte veloce

My 1980 video performance Notte veloce was created by me thinking of a distant summer night, of a memory of a curious event, in which I saw a large nocturnal moth flapping its wings and colliding against a lit street lamp. Often the observations of simple events or casual encounters with abandoned objects and natural occurrences have been very important for creating my works in video and photography.
