A young village boy, Malik, falls in love with Zeeno, a modern Punjabi girl from a Westernized family. A village bully, Zuba, also likes Zeeno and creates apprehension in Zeeno and her family about Malik's relationship with a resident in his home, this leads to significant conflicts among Malik, the villagers, Zeeno, and her family.
