Uzbekistan in the early 1920s. The famous tightrope walker Tashtemir and his grandson Alijan help the Red Army soldiers track down a dangerous Basmati gang. Under the guise of traveling performers, tightrope walkers conduct active reconnaissance. Their path is dangerous and difficult.
