Venice - New Year's Concert 2005

Maestro Georges Prêtre conducts Venice's Teatro La Fenice orchestra and choir in this New Year's concert. The cultural celebration also showcases Micha Van Hoecke's ballets, which are performed in some of Venice's most picturesque locales. Starring soprano Annalisa Raspagliosi and tenor Giuseppe Gipali, the program includes masterpieces from composers Gioacchino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Ottorino Respighi and Pietro Mascagni.
